Dead People (2022)
A young funeral agent reflects on death while caring for and sending off the body of an old man. This documentary was shot in the coastal town of Molde in the North-West of Norway. It all started when I saw an article about the protagonist, Kristian Kirkeland, who is a young funeral agent who, at the time, had worked with dead people for 10 years at the age of only 24. I gave him a call and the rest is history!
The film was nominated in the category of best short documentary at Bergen International Film Festival, and is among the most true-to-my-vision films.

Red Days in May (tba)
Right now I’m working on a feature film titled Red Days in May. This is a pilot or a proof-of-concept we made to showcase its potential.
After the arrival of three suns in the sky, a nurse-turned-organ courier must deliver a heart from one location to another in under 7 hours - anonymous, efficient, and in plain sight. This will be my first feature film, and it’s made to be as doable as possible under the constraints of time and money.
I love filmmaking, and while I have a long way to go, intend to make films for the rest of my life. Maybe I’m just stubborn.
My commercial work
(at least some of it)
I generally work alone or in small teams. I really LOVE doing a portrait of someone who has a passion for something. Someone whose interest in a subject is so deep that you can’t help being pulled into it yourself. Below are a couple of examples:
This is Jonas, and this is a film about a local foundation that supports various volunteer work. The subject in this film is a local Red Cross organization. We joined a field exercise, search and rescue, and Jonas took us through it.
This is Daniel, a helicopter technician working for Airlift in Norway. He loves the Airbus AS350 and has a deep fascination for helicopters. This was a spontaneous job, no pre-production, no plan. Just show up and learn about this man and his work.
Halvskrukken men Vassdrukken (2025)
This is a 1-minute-film I did at a workshop in Oslo under the mentorship of filmmakers Hisham Zaman and Eskil Vogt. We shot this in Iphone, and the assignment was to make a short film about a conflict. In this case a daughters attempt to forgive her estranged father.
In the Living Room (2023)
Made in Shetland. My grandmother was from there.
And when I got the opportunity to film a musical duo on their tour there, I just had to. It’s short, it’s a promo for an album, and I had a lot of fun.
